Verwendungsmöglichkeiten
Die Alarmeinheit SAG-20 wird als externer Alarmge-
ber in Alarm- und Überwachungsanlagen eingesetzt.
Sie besteht aus einer elektronischen Sirene und einer
Blitzleuchte, die bei Alarmauslösung akustischen und
optischen Alarm geben. Manipulationen am Gerät
durch Öffnen des Gehäuses bzw. Abreißen des
Gehäuses von der Wand werden durch einen Sabo-
tage-Kontakt und eine Abreißschlaufe verhindert.
Hinweise für den sicheren Gebrauch
•
Dieses Gerät entspricht der EU-Richtlinie für
elektromagnetische Verträglichkeit 89/336/EWG.
•
Der Anschluß des Gerätes sollte nur von qualifi-
ziertem Fachpersonal vorgenommen werden.
•
Wird das Gerät zweckentfremdet, nicht richtig
angeschlossen oder nicht fachgerecht repariert,
kann für eventuelle Schäden keine Haftung über-
nommen werden.
•
Für die Reinigung des Gerätes keine scharfen Rei-
nigungsmittel oder Chemikalien verwenden.
Montage und Anschluß der Alarmeinheit
1) Zum Öffnen der Alarmeinheit die Schraube auf der
Vorderseite des Gerätes lösen, und die vordere
Gehäusehälfte abnehmen. Die Elektonik der
Alarmeinheit ist durch ein zusätzliches Metallgitter
geschützt. Zum Abnehmen des Gitters die Schrau-
be lösen, mit der es am Gehäuse befestigt ist.
2) Das Anschlußkabel durch die Kabeldurchführung
ziehen, und die Gehäuserückseite an geeigneter
Stelle an einer Außenwand befestigen. Für die Be-
festigung an der Wand sind auf der Gehäuserück-
seite vier Befestigungsöffnungen vorgesehen.
GB Alarm Unit
Applications
The alarm unit SAG-20 is used as an external alarm
device in alarm and monitoring systems. It consists of
an electronic siren and a strobelight which emit an
acoustical and optical alarm signal in case of alarm
triggering. Tampering actions at the unit by opening
the housing resp. tearing off the housing from the wall
are prevented by an anti-tamper contact and a tear-
off loop.
Safety Notes
•
This unit corresponds to the EC directive for
electromagnetic compatibility 89/336/EEC.
•
The connection of the unit should only be carried
out by skilled personnel.
•
If the unit is used for purposes other than originally
intended, if it is installed or operated in the wrong
way or if it is not repaired by authorized skilled per-
sonnel, there is no liability for possible damage.
•
For the cleaning of the unit do not use any sharp
detergents or chemicals.
Mounting and Connecting the Alarm Unit
1) To open the alarm unit, remove the screw at the
front part of the housing and take the front part off.
The electronics of the alarm unit is protected by an
additional metal grid. To take off the grid, remove
the screw by which it is fixed at the housing.
2) Pull the connecting cable through the cable inlet
and fix the rear side of the housing at a suitable
place at an outside wall. For fixing at the wall four
holes are provided at the rear side of the housing.
3) Connect the power supply (12 V ) for the strobe-
light at the screw terminals 8 and 9 and the power
supply (12 V ) for the siren at the screw terminals
5 and 6 (see fig.). Pay attention to the correct pola-
rity in any case (red cable = positive pole, black

3) Die Stromversorgung (12 V ) für die Blitzleuchte
an die Schraubklemmen 8 und 9 anschließen und
die Stromversorgung (12 V ) für die Sirene an die
Schraubklemmen 5 und 6 (siehe Abbildung). Da-
bei unbedingt auf die richtige Polung achten (rotes
Kabel = Pluspol, schwarzes Kabel = Minuspol).
Eine falsche Polung führt zur Beschädigung der
Alarmeinheit.
4) Die NC-Sabotagelinie der Alarmzentrale über die
Anschlußklemmen 1 und 3 führen (siehe Abbil-
dung). Die Abreißschlaufe muß durch die Kabel-
durchführung an der Wand befestigt werden. Auf
diese Weise ist das Gerät gegen Manipulationen
geschützt: Sobald versucht wird, das Gehäuse zu
öffnen oder es von der Wand zu reißen, wird der
Stromkreis unterbrochen und ein Alarm ausgelöst.
5) Das Metallgitter und das vordere Gehäuseteil wie-
der festschrauben.

damage to the alarm unit.
4) Lead the NC anti-tamper line of the alarm centre
via the screw terminals 1 and 3 (see fig.). The tear-
off loop must be fixed through the cable inlet at the
wall. Thus the unit is protected against anti-tam-
pering actions: As soon as it is tried to open the
housing or to tear it from the wall, the power circuit
is interrupted and an alarm is triggered.
5) Tightly screw again the metal grid and the front
housing part.
