Close the cover by pressing it down hard with
both hands and turn the antitheft key (fig. 20).
Remember to always remove the key before use
(it is advisable to keep the second key supplied
separate from the first key, in order to be able
duplicate it if the key becomes lost).
Fix the rear wheel of the bicycle to the rear support
cradle with the clamp supplied, sliding it in the
special slots. Close the quick fastener (fig. 21)

Carefully check the correct fixing of the bicycle to
the SANREMO UNIVERSAL by moving it repeatedly
sideways and up and check the total absence of
any play, ensuring that the bicycle fork and the
respective front support pins cannot become

detached. If necessary, repeat the adjustment
operations, tightening to the correct values until
completely eliminating any play still present.
ADVANCED FUNCTIONS
The SANREMO UNIVERSAL is designed in order
to close and open the two front support pins in a
synchronised way, therefore the dimensions "X"
and "Y" (fig. 22) will be the same on both sides.
If the two ends of the bicycle fork have different
dimensions or if the SANREMO UNIVERSAL loses
the correct synchronism after prolonged use, it
will be possible to manually operate to make the
same dimension "X" equal to "Y" or modify the
dimension "X" or "Y" in an independent way.
