Your quality Salter scale has been designed especially for your convenience. It also has the bonus feature of a heat resistant
trivet platform for resting hot pans.This dual purpose design means the scale can be left out on display for use as a trivet
when the scale function is not required.
TO SWITCH ON
Before use, gently slide open the front of the scale to
reveal the display and the buttons:
1) If using a bowl place on the platform before
switching the scale on.
2) Press 'ON-ZERO' button to turn the scale on.
3) Wait until the display shows zero.
USING THE AQUATRONIC FEATURE TO MEASURE LIQUID INGREDIENTS
The Aquatronic liquid measure feature is suitable for all water based liquids, including wine, milk, stock, cream etc.
Note: Oils have a lower specific gravity, which will result in a volume reading of approx +10%. If measuring oils by volume
on this scale, please adjust for this accordingly.

BATTERY
Insert 2 x AA Batteries.
Ensure +/- terminals are the correct way round.
USING THE SCALE
TO CONVERT WEIGHT UNITS
To convert between grams (g) and pounds/ounces (lb.oz)
press the g-oz button at any time during weighing.
To convert between Aquatronic Measures millilitres (ml)
and fluid ounces (fl.oz), press the ml-fl.oz button at any
time during weighing.
TO ADD AND WEIGH
To weigh several different ingredients, press 'ON-ZERO'
to reset the display between each ingredient.

AUTO SWITCH OFF
Automatic switch off occurs if the display shows 0 for 1
minute or shows the same weight reading for 3 mins.
USING THE TRIVET FEATURE
CLEANING AND CARE
Clean the scale with a slightly damp cloth. DO NOT immerse the scale in water or use chemical/abrasive cleaning agents.
WARNING INDICATORS
Weigh overload. Replace battery.
GUARANTEE
This product is intended for domestic use only. Salter will repair or replace the product, or any part of this product,
(excluding batteries) free of charge if within 15 years of the date of purchase, it can be shown to have failed through
defective workmanship or materials.This guarantee covers working parts that affect the function of the scale. It does not
cover cosmetic deterioration caused by fair wear and tear or damage caused by accident or misuse. Opening or taking
apart the scale or its components will void the guarantee. Claims under guarantee must be supported by proof of purchase
and be returned carriage paid to Salter (or local Salter appointed agent if outside the UK). Care should be taken in packing
the scale so that it is not damaged while in transit.This undertaking is in addition to a consumer's statutory rights and does

MANUAL SWITCH OFF
To maximise battery life:
Press the OFF button to switch the scale off after use.
The scale is heat resistant and has been designed to be
used as a trivet for resting hot pans.
Warning: Please ensure the scale is in the closed position
to use this feature so as not to damage the display.
The scale should not be used to weigh hot pans as the
heat will affect the accuracy of the reading.The warning
symbol shows in the top left corner of the display if
the scale is too hot to use (i.e. if it has just been in use as
a trivet). If this shows please wait for the scale to cool
down before use to ensure an accurate reading.
Press ON-ZERO.
