lich durch und heben Sie sie für ein späteres Nach-
lesen auf.
1 Verwendungsmöglichkeiten
Das Schwarzweißkameramodul in Subminiatur aus -
führung ist speziell für den Einsatz in Video-Über wa -
chungsanlagen (CCTV) kon zipiert und lässt sich dank
der äußerst geringen Abmessungen auch op timal als
Türspion, Auto-Einparkhilfe oder versteckte Überwa-
chungs kamera verwenden. Das Modul ist betriebsfer-
tig und besitzt einen Standard-Videoausgang. Die
Betriebsspannung be trägt 12 V .
2 Wichtige Hinweise zur Montage

Das Modul ist nach der EMV-Richtlinie 89/336/EWG
aufgebaut (EMV = Elektromagnetische Verträglich-
keit). Damit das Modul auch im Be trieb diese Richt-
linie erfüllt, muss es in ein abgeschirmtes Gehäuse
eingesetzt und der Ausgang über eine abgeschirmte
Leitung angeschlossen werden. Wird die EMV-
Richt linie nicht eingehalten, erlischt die Kon for mi -
täts er klärung.

Schützen Sie das Modul vor Feuchtigkeit und Hitze
(zulässiger Einsatztemperaturbereich 0–40 °C).

Die Linsen des Objektivs un bedingt vor Staub und
sonstiger Verschmutzung schützen und auf gar kei-
nen Fall mit den Fingern berühren.

to the operation and keep them for later reference.
1 Applications
The black/white camera module in subminiature ver-
sion is especially been designed for video surveillance
systems (CCTV). Due to its extra small dimensions it
can be used in an optimum way as a door spy, car
parking aid, or concealed monitoring camera. The
module is ready for operation and has a standard
video output. The operating voltage is 12 V .
2 Important Notes for the Mounting
G The camera module corresponds to the directive for
electromagnetic compatibility 89/336/EEC. To con-
form to this directive also while in operation, the
module must be placed into a shielded housing and
the output must be connected via a shielded cable.
If the EEC directive is not complied with, the decla-
ration of conformity expires.

Protect the module against humidity and heat (per-
missible operating temperature range 0–40 °C).

The lenses of the lens assembly must be protected
against dust and other impurities and must not be
touched with your fingers in any case.

3 Anschluss des Kameramoduls
Das Modul wird über die 3-polige Buchse angeschlos-
sen (siehe Abbildung):
Pin 1: Anschluss für +12 V (roter Anschlussdraht)
Pin 2: Masse für Stromversorgung und Video ausgang
(schwarzer Anschlussdraht)
Pin 3: Videoausgang (weißer Anschlussdraht)
3.1 Stromversorgung
Ein elektronisch stabilisiertes 12-V-Netzgerät (z. B.
PS-500ST von MONACOR) mit Pin 1 (+12 V) und Pin 2
(Masse) verbinden. Da bei auf die richtige Polung ach-
ten. Die Stromaufnahme beträgt ca. 110 mA.
3.2 Videoausgang mit 75-Ω-Kabel
An Pin 3 der Anschlussbuchse die Kabelseele, an Pin 2
die Abschirmung eines 75-Ω-Koaxialkabels an schließen
und dieses mit einem oder mehreren Monitoren verbin-
den. Dabei auf korrekten 75-Ω-Ab schluss am Monitor
oder bei Serienschaltung am letzten Monitor achten.

3 Connection of the Camera Module
The module is connected via the 3-pole jack (see fig.):
Pin 1: connection for +12 V (red wire)
Pin 2: ground for power supply and video output
(black wire)
Pin 3: video output (white wire)
3.1 Power supply
Connect an electronically regulated 12 V power supply
(e. g. PS-500ST by MONACOR) to pin 1 (+12 V) and
pin 2 (ground). Observe the correct polarity. The
power consumption is approx. 110 mA.
3.2 Video output with 75 Ω cable
Connect the cable core to pin 3 of the jack and the
screen of a 75 Ω coaxial cable to pin 2, and connect
this cable to one or several monitors. Observe the cor-
rect 75 Ω termination at the monitor or in case of series
connection at the last monitor.

4 Inbetriebnahme
Nach dem Videoanschluss und Anlegen der 12-V-
Versorgungsspannung ist das Kameramodul betriebs-
bereit.
Wenn ein Objekt in ca. 5 m Entfernung nicht scharf
abgebildet wird, muss das Auflagemaß korrigiert wer-
den. Die kleine Schraube am Objektivhalter lösen. Das
Objektiv vorsichtig so weit drehen, bis das Bild scharf
ist. An schließend die Schraube wieder festziehen.

4 Setting into Operation
After video connection and applying of the 12 V supply
voltage the camera module is ready for operation.
If an object is not clearly reproduced at a distance
of approx. 5 m, the mechanical focus setting must be
adjusted. Release the small screw at the lens support.
Carefully turn the lens until the picture is clear. Then
retighten the screw.
