Make sure the jug is properly placed. The
spout of the jug has to face the appliance. If
the jug is not properly placed, the drip stop
function is automatically activated.

Thermos jug: The best way to keep the coffee
hot is to rinse the jug with hot water before
brewing.
Press the on/off button to switch on the

appliance.
• The power-on light goes on.
Let the water pass through the filter into the

jug.
Caution:

Do not remove the 2-in-1 loader with filter
holder from the housing during a brewing
cycle, as there will be hot water in the filter
holder.
Glass jug: You can leave the jug on the

hotplate to keep the coffee warm and to
preserve its flavour. The appliance switches off
automatically after 120 minutes.
Thermos jug: The appliance switches off

automatically after brewing. The jug keeps the
coffee hot.
Note:

If you want to brew another jug of coffee
right away, let the appliance cool down for 3
minutes first.
Remove the 2-in-1 loader, pull out the filter

holder and throw away the paper filter and its
content.

5.2 Drip stop function

The drip stop function enables you to remove
the jug from the coffeemaker before the brewing
process is finished. When you remove the jug, the
drip stop stops the flow of coffee into the jug.
6 Cleaning and
maintenance

Never immerse the appliance or thermos jug in
water or any other liquid, nor rinse it under the
tap.
Unplug the appliance and let it cool down.

clean the outside of the appliance with a

moist cloth.
Remove the 2-in-1 loader.

Remove the filter holder.

Remove the lid from the jug.

Clean the water tank, the filter holder, the

glass jug and the lid of the jug in hot water
with some washing-up liquid or in the
dishwasher.
Warning:

The thermos jug is not dishwasher-proof.
clean the inside of the thermos jug with a soft

brush, hot water and some washing-up liquid.
After cleaning, rinse the jug with fresh hot
8
water and reattach all parts.
