4 Operation

CAUTION!
Do not look directly into the spotlights or the individual LED elements.
There is a risk of severe dazzling and damage to the retinas
could even be possible.
If the RESCUE LIGHT is to be used free-standing, it is essential that all four of the frame feet
are folded out. Only then can adequate stability be assured, ensuring that the RESCUE LIGHT
cannot topple. The system is also secure on slightly inclined or uneven surfaces thanks
to the rubberised feet. Always carry the RESCUE LIGHT only with the surrounding frame
whenever possible!
Alternatively, the RESCUE LIGHT can also be fastened onto a stand/mast or another suitable
mount with 30 mm standard pins. The mounting receptacle on the underside of the frame
is used for this. It is essential that the RESCUE LIGHT is fastened to the stand/mast with the
attached knurled screws in order to ensure that it cannot fall!
Either a rechargeable battery or a permanent power supply is required to power
the RESCUE LIGHT. In each case, the power source is plugged into the receptacle provided
on the rear until it latches securely into place. The power supply can be released again
by pressing the two unlocking tabs on the rechargeable battery or the adapter.
CAUTION!
When using the permanent power supply as an energy source, a period
of continuous use of 5 hours must not be exceeded in order to ensure
that the device and the LED spotlights are not damaged.
