If required, refresh the website by pressing the F5 key
or the browser's refresh button while registering with
SERVICEWELT.
7.2.1 automatic registration with uPnP
DHCP and UPnP are usually activated in the home network router
and the appliance obtains its IP address automatically.
f Call up the SERVICEWELT user interface (see chapter "Access- f
ing SERVICEWELT").
f Perform the steps described in the chapter "Manual registra- f
tion", if the Servicewelt user interface does not open.

7.2.2 manual registration

If the Servicewelt user interface does not open, the name resolu-
tion for "servicewelt" was not successful.
Problem Cause
The SERVICEWELT user DHCP is not activated.

For manual registration on the network, the appliance must be
directly connected to the computer.
Note
Use the supplied crossover cable to directly connect the
appliance to the computer.
f Disconnect the crossover cable connecting the appliance to f
the router from the router.
f Connect the crossover cable to a network port on the f
computer.

f Enter "servicewelt" in the address bar of your web browser. f
Press the return key.
f If the Servicewelt user interface does not open, enter f
"192.168.0.126" in the browser address bar.
If the Servicewelt user interface still does not open, carry out the
following steps (Windows 7):
f Open the control panel and navigate to the "LAN connection" f
button.
f Right click and then click on "Properties". f
f Click on "Internet protocol" (Internetprotokoll). f
f Check "Use the following internet address". f
f In the field "IP address" enter "192.168.0.1". f
f In the field "Subnet mask" enter "255.255.255.0". f
f Click on "OK". f
f In the web browser, enter "servicewelt" or "192.168.0.126". f
f Restart your computer if the Servicewelt user interface does f
not open.

Change the browser

manually enter an IP address.
