10. Servicing/repairs/cleaning

10.1 Servicing / Repair

WARNING! Servicing or repair is required if the microwave is damaged in any way, for
example, if liquid or objects have entered the casing, if the microwave is exposed to rain or
moisture, if it is not working properly or if it has been dropped. If you notice any smoke, unusual
noises or strange smells, switch the microwave off immediately and disconnect the mains plug from
the mains socket. Keep the door (4) closed to stifle any flames. If this occurs, the microwave should
not be used before it they been inspected by authorised service personnel. All servicing or repairs
must be carried out by qualified service personnel. Never open the casing of the microwave.

10.2 Cleaning

Before cleaning, inspect the power cable and the glass plate (2) for any possible damage. Also check
that the door (4) closes safely and that is isn't damaged. If you find any items damaged, don't use the
microwave anymore and contact customer services (see "Warranty and service information" chapter).
DANGER! Unplug the mains plug from the mains socket before you start to clean, there is the risk
of electric shock!
DANGER! Wait until the microwave has cooled down. Risk of getting burnt!
DANGER! Never immerse the microwave itself in water, there is a risk of electric shock!
WARNING! Do not use oven cleaner spray to clean the cooking space, as this can produce
residues on the heating rods which cannot be removed.
To clean, remove the glass plate (2) and the drive star (3). These parts can then be cleaned in hot water
with washing-up liquid. Rinse all parts with clean water and dry them thoroughly. Never use abrasive
materials for cleaning.
Removing and replacing the drive star (3)
Removing: Hold the drive star (3) in the centre and pull it off from
the axis in the bottom of the microwave.
Inserting: Hold the drive star (3) in the centre and place it loosely
on the drive axis. Please note the shape (see the arrow) of the
drive axis. Slightly turn the drive star until you feel that it engages
with the drive axis and then firmly press it downwards onto the
drive axis.
The glass plate (2) can also be cleaned in the dishwasher.
