CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE


Unplug the appliance.

Wipe the appliance body with damp cloth and dry.
 Use damp cloth or unabrasive cleaners for soleplate cleaning.

Abrasive cleaners using hurts iron soleplate.

Avoid scratching the soleplate with metallic objects.
STORAGE

Unplug the steam iron.

Make sure that the appliance is completely cool down.

Follow all the steps of «Cleaning and maintenance» article of User manual.

Roll up the power cord with the rewinder.
 Always keep the iron in a vertical position.
TIPS

Use «MIN» temperature for fabrics with unusual finishes (sequins, embroidery, flush etc).
 If fabric is mixed (e.g. 40% of cotton and 60% synthetics), set the thermostat to the temperature of fibre which requires lower temperature.

If you don‟t know fabric structure, find ideal temperature by testing on a hidden corner of clothes. Start with low temperature and increase it gradually until it reaches ideal temperature.

Never iron areas with traces of perspiration or other mark. High temperature fixes the stains on fabric and make them irremovable.

To avoid marks iron silk, wool or synthetic inside out.

To avoid glossy marks iron velvet garments in one direction – following the fibre and do not press down on the iron.
 More clothes in washing machine - more creases are on clothes.

If drying speed in washing machine is high, there could be more creases on the clothes.

Many fabrics are easier to iron if they are not completely dry.
