14. Never use any base station for this appliance ex cept the one supplied with the appliance itself. Do
not use any accessories other than those recommended by SOLIS to avoid the risk of electrical shock,
fire or injury .
15. Do not push any objects into gaps or openings in the kettle.
16. Do not let the cable hang over the edge of a table or work-surface, or come into contact with hot
surfaces, or become knotted.
17. Do not position the kettle near to the edge of the work-surface or table when it is in operation.
Make sure that the surface is level, clean and free of water. Keep the kettle away from walls, curtains
and other heat-sensitive or moisture-sensitive materials. Maintain a minimum distance of 20 cm.
18. Avoid any contact with hot surfaces. The kettle must alway s be lifted and carried by the handle only .
19. Pour water out of the kettle carefully , as boiling water and steam may cause scalds. Do not pour the
water out too quickly .
20. To protect y ourself from electrical shock, do not immerse the base of the kettle, the base station, the
mains cable or the plug in water, and avoid contact between these parts and any moisture.
21. Do not open the lid while the kettle is in operation.
22. Do not operate the kettle on a draining board by a sink.
23. This appliance is not intended for use by people (including children) with reduced phy sical, sensory
or mental abilities or a lack of ex perience or knowledge, unless they have been instructed in the use
of the appliance beforehand by a person who is responsible for their safety .
24. C hildren must be supervised to make sure that they do not play with this appliance.
25. This appliance is only recommended for household use. Do not use this appliance other than for its
intended use in accordance with the regulations. Do not use inside moving vehicles or on boats. Do
not use this appliance in the open air.
26. Do not use the kettle on a sloping surface. Do not move the appliance while it is switched on.
27. This kettle is only suitable for domestic use. It is not suitable for commercial use.
28. Alway s unplug the appliance after use.
We recommend the installation of a residual current circuit-breaker to provide additional protection
when using electrical appliances. It is advisable to use a circuit-breaker with a nominal fault current
of max imum 30 mA. Y our local electrician can advise y ou.
N O T E :
If the kettle is too full, boiling water may escape.
The kettle may only be used with its own base station.
