Please read these operating instructions carefully before using the appliance and keep the information
for future use.

1. Please read these instructions carefully from beginning to end and keep them in a safe place. If y ou
pass the appliance to on other people, please do not forget to include these instructions.
2. We recommend that y ou use a mains electricity connection with a 10Amp fuse. Do not operate any
other high-power appliance from the same switching circuit in case y ou overload that circuit.
3. Remove the water jug from the base station when y ou are filling it. Dry the bottom of the jug before
y ou before y ou replace it back on the base station.
4. Never leave the appliance unsupervised when it is switched on.
5. Take particular care when y ou use the appliance in the presence of children or elderly people.
6. The kettle must only be used on surfaces that are level. Do not place the appliance near to a hot gas
or electric hob or any other electrical appliances.
7. Do not hold the appliance by its hot surfaces. Alway s hold the kettle by the handle. Beware of any
hot steam leaking out from the spout or the lid, especially when refilling the water jug.
8. This kettle may only be used to heat water. Please do not ex ceed the " MAX" mark, and do not
switch the kettle on when the water level is below the " MIN" mark.
9. Do not allow the mains cable to hang over the edge of the table; make sure that it does not touch
any hot surfaces. Store any ex cess length of mains cable in the appropriate storage compartment
within the base station.
10. Do not immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid. Do not use an ex tension cable unless
it has been inspected and tested by qualified technical personnel. Only connect the appliance to a
mains electricity supply that matches the alternating current specified on the appliance itself.
11. Any mains cable that has been damaged must only be replaced by a service station authorised by
SOLIS or by authorised specialists.
12. Alway s pull the mains plug out of the socket in all the following circumstances: If there is no water
in the water jug; If y ou are filling the water jug; If the kettle is out of use; If y ou are cleaning or trans-
porting the appliance.
13. Please contact a service station authorised by SOLIS or approach SOLIS AG directly in the event of
any faults, or if y ou need any repairs. Do not attempt to repair the appliance y ourself under any
circumstances.
WA R N IN G: To prevent electrical shocks, never remove the baseplate from either the water jug or
the base station.
