Send Service designates which service centre you want to use for sending the

next SMS message.
Please note: the default Send Center is SMS Center 1.
New SMS alert
If activated, a brief beep is heard every time a new SMS message is received.
Press Menu, select SMS and press OK.

Select Settings and press OK.

Select New SMS Alert and press OK.

Select ON or OFF using the navigation keys

Press Menu, select Sound and press OK.

• Select a function from the list using the navigation keys
- Ringer - Select the melody and volume for your handset ringers.
- Tones - Select the tones for Key Tone (every time a key is pressed, a brief beep
is heard), Confirmation Tone, Low Battery Tone and Out of Range (sounds when
max. range is exceeded).

• Select a function from the list using the navigation keys
- Date & Time - See page 71.
- Alarm - The activated alarm is displayed in standby mode by
sounds for 30 seconds or can be deactivated immediately by pressing the
softkey under Stop.
- Display
- Handset name - To better distinguish between handsets, you can give each
handset a name.
- Contrast - Set the desired display contrast.

Press Menu, select Settings and press OK.
