1. Description

The EX-6006PoE is a metal Gigabit Ethernet Injector. With the EX-6006PoE, end devic-
es such as IP-telephones, IP-cameras, WLAN access points etc. can be supplied with
power. It supports the 10/100/1000 Base-T Ethernet standards. Fully IEEE 802.3af/at
compliant PoE (PSE=Power Source Equipment) Type 1 and 2 operation supported. The
maximum power (PD) at the PoE ports are for Type 1 12,95W and for Type 2 25,50W.
The external power supply via the +12V Terminal Block or the +12V DC-Connector
makes it easy to provide the required power. It uses data transfer rates up to 1000Mbit/
s. The EX-6006PoE can easily be mounted on a carrier rail in a server rack by using the
supplied DIN-Rail kit. With its slim and compact housing and a temperature range of 0°
C to 60°C it is an optimal product for use in industrial environments.
