Digital Outputs
Connect the coaxial cable or the fi bre optic cable for the transmission
of the digital audio signal to your playback device or your amplifi er.
1. Insert the selected connection cable into the socket on the rear of
the device.
2. Insert the other end of the cable into the corresponding socket of
your playback device or your amplifi er.
NOTE:
If you do not use a SCART connection it is necessary to make an
additional audio connection for the transmission of the audio data
(i.e. the sound).
SCART IN
Here you can connect a satellite or DVB-T receiver, for example.
SCART is used to transmit both Video and Audio data.
1. Plug the SCART jack fi rmly into the socket on the back of the
player.
2. Insert the SCART plug into the corresponding socket of your
output device.
Composite Video Input
With composite video only video data are transmitted.
1. Plug the Composite-Video jack into the socket on the back of the
player.
2. Insert the composite plug into the corresponding socket of your
output device.
S-Video Input
A connection with an S-Video cable guarantees very good recording
quality.
With S-Video only video signals are transmitted.
1. Insert den S-Video plug into the socket on the rear of the device.
2. Insert the S-Video plug into the corresponding socket of your
output device.
Stereo Input
Connect the two audio leads for the right-hand and left-hand sound
channel to your output device.
1. Insert the audio plugs into the socket on the rear of the device.
2. Insert the audio plugs into the corresponding sockets of your
output device.
