the cable is routed through the vehicle with the washer and lock nut fitted beforehand. The
cable must be mounted with full strain relief and protected - even at maximum steering angle.
C o m m i s s i o n i n g
The chain should be cleaned before starting up, as otherwise existing dirt and grease
residues will be loosened by the chain oil and thrown off. We recommend our chain
cleaning set for this purpose.
Once the cabling is complete, the system can be put into operation. Activate the igni-
tion. The LED on the rain switch lights up for a short moment. This is a self test. From
now on it is possible to select and deselect the rain mode on the switch.
The system must be vented after initial filling (see also chapter „Flushing"). Keep the
rain switch pressed for 4 seconds. The red LED starts flashing quickly. This setting opens
the dosing valve permanently. It is now possible to wait until the system has vented
itself or overpressure can be created via the filling opening with an oil-filled syringe. The
gold-coloured venting opening must be closed for this purpose. The air is vented until
the oil begins to drip at the application nozzle. By pressing the rain switch again, the
venting is stopped.
