Assembling Your Mockmill Grain Mill Attachment
Instructions
1. Loosen the knob on the KitchenAid stand mixer and remove the
attachment hub cover. Insert the Mockmill Grain Mill Attachment into
the attachment hub on the KitchenAid making sure that the power
shaft fits into the square hub socket. Rotate the attachment back and
forth if necessary. When the attachment is in the proper position, the
pin on the attachment housing will fit into the notch on the hub rim.
Tighten the attachment knob until the unit is completely secured to
the stand mixer. Use the extra-long knob delivered with the Mockmill
for ease of use.
2. Fold down the run-off plate onto the edge of the mixing bowl
3. Adjust the desired coarseness setting
4. Fill grain in the hopper
5. Turn on the KitchenAid stand mixer
Prior to the first use of the Mockmill, be sure to grind a hand full of grain to
initiate the mill. Throw away the flour from this first grinding.
