Brief press: 
Oversampling mode switch
Repeatedly pressing this button cycles through the D10's
various oversampling algorithms
For SACD and CD playback several algorithms are avail-
able, carefully matched to the different data formats.
For more information on the oversampling algorithms
please refer to the section entitled 'Technical descrip-
tion of OVERSAMPLING'.
Long press: 
A long button-press toggles (switches to and fro) be-
tween normal and inverted phase of the audio signal. The
screen window displays the Inverted mode by a glowing
 symbol (see also the section entitled 'Explanation of
terms, useful information').
Incremental control - track select wheel
Track select 
Rotating this control selects a track for playback; the
selected track then appears on the screen. As soon as
the desired track number lights up, the track can be
started by pressing the incremental control.
In addition to selecting tracks, the incremental control
also has other purposes such as menu control functions
and creating playback programs.

Screen window
All the screen elements of the D10 are displayed in a
clearly laid-out window on the integral screen:
SACD
is lit when a SACD is played.
MC
is lit when playing a multi-channel SACD.
glows when the two-channel downmix func-
tion is active (see section entitled 'Special
features with Super Audio CD (SACD) /
multi-channel SACD').
STOP 12
Alpha-numerical display area for indication
of track, time or operation mode.
1/2/3
This display area shows the currently active
oversampling algorithm (1 . . . 3). If none of
the numbers are lit, the standard algorithm
(FIR Filter) is active.
    (a)
flashes during the power-on and warm-up
processes
   
glows when the D10 is switched on
    (b)
READY DISPLAY
glows in automatic mode in conjunction with
the  V10 integrated amplifier / remote
control system.

REPEAT
glows when the repeat function is active
T
glows when track repeat is active
P
Glows as long as a MEMO program is
active. (see chapter 'Creating a MEMO-
Program'.
WIDE
glows when the analogue output is set to
high bandwidth (see 'WIDE' switch on back
panel)
The symbol glows when the output signal is
inverted.
Note:
If the message '
OVERHEAT
OVERHEAT
OVERHEAT
OVERHEAT
' should appear on the screen,
the machine has become too warm. Please make sure
that the device is supplied with a sufficient flow of air and
that the air can flow freely around the case of the device.
Read and follow all instructions stated in the section
'Setting up the D10'. Please do not place the D10 directly
on top of other hot devices like amplifiers etc.
