15.
15. Zentrieren Sie das Kabel in der
Schirmschelle, so daß
• die Energieadern unten in der
Schirmschelle liegen,
• das Schirmgeflecht von der
Andruckfläche im Oberteil des
Outlets kontaktiert wird.
16. Klappen sie das Oberteil herunter.
Achten Sie darauf, daß die Energieadern
nicht verrutschen und nicht zwischen den
seitlichen Metallstegen eingeklemmt
werden.
15. Center the cable in the shield clamp so
that
• the wires lie below the shield clamp,
• the braided shield makes contact with
the pressure sensitive surface in the
top casing of the outlet.
16. Close the top casing. Make sure that the
wires do not slip and get stuck between
the metal bars on the sides.
Hinweise:
Die Schneidklemm-Kontakte des IE FC RJ45 Modular Outlet
können bis zu 10 Mal gelöst und neu kontaktiert werden.
Kontaktierte Leitungsenden dürfen nicht nochmals kontaktiert
werden sondern müssen abgeschnitten werden.
Folgende Inserts sind ohne Grundgehäuse separat lieferbar

Beachten Sie, daß die Verbindung zwischen IE FC RJ45
Modular Outlet mit diesen Inserts 8-adrige FastConnect-
Leitungen (Cat6) erfordert. Das IE Hybridcable 2x2 + 4x0,34
6XV1870-2J ist für den Betrieb der Inserts 2FE und 1GE nicht
geignet!
Betreiben Sie das Power Insert nur unter folgenden Bedingungen:
• an Kleinspannungen SELV, PELV nach IEC 60364-4-41
• in USA/CAN an Stromversorgungen nach NEC class 2
• in USA/CAN muß die Verkabelung die Anforderungen des
NEC/CEC erfüllen
• Strombelastung maximal 0,5 A.

17. Ziehen Sie die beiden Deckelschrauben
fest.
18. Drehen Sie die Insertschraube fest, bis
das Insert mit dem Outletgehäuse
schließt.
17. Tighten both cover screws.
18. Tighten the insert screw until the insert
locks into the outlet housing.

19. Schnappen Sie das Outlet auf eine
Standardhutschiene auf oder schrauben
Sie es mit Hilfe der 3 Gehäusebohrungen
auf eine ebene Fläche.
19. Snap the outlet to a DIN rail or screw it to
a flat surface via the 3 bore holes in the
casing.
Notes:
The piercing contacts of the IE FC RJ45 Modular Outlet can be
released and recontacted up to 10 times.
Cable ends that have already been pierced must not be used again
but must be cut off.
The following inserts come without basic housing and can be
ordered separately

Please note that the connection between IE FC RJ45 Modular
Outlet and these inserts requires an 8-wire FastConnect-
Cable (Cat6). The IE hybrid cable 2x2 + 4x0,34
is not suitable for the operation of inserts 2FE and 1GE!
Only operate the Power Insert under the following conditions:·
• extra-low voltage SELV, PELV according to IEC 60364-4-41
• in USA/CAN use a Class 2 power source as defined by the
National Electric Code (NEC/CEC)
• in USA/CAN wiring shall be installed in accordance with
the current NEC/CEC requirements
• Maximum current load 0.5 A.
