14. WHEELS
The MINOS POWER has standard pneumatic tires. It is important that the tires always have sufficient
tread and that the tire pressure is correct, because these two factors affect how well the brakes ope-
rate. If the tire pressure is incorrect, it is harder to drive your wheelchair forwards in a straight line.
Tire pressure:
The maximum tire pressure is displayed on the outer walls of the tires.
Maximum tire pressure front: 2.5 bar
Maximum tire pressure back: 2.5 bar
Caution: Do not exceed the maximum permitted tire pressure.
Replacing wheels/tires:
Replacing wheels and tires requires professional knowledge. Therefore this should only be done by
an official RvS dealer.
Warning: No one should be sitting in the wheelchair when replacing wheels.
Place the wheelchair in such a way that it cannot fall over or roll away when a wheel is removed.

15. TRANSPORT AND STORAGE

For easy storage and transport, the MINOS POWER can be made
as compact as possible. This can be done by removing components
from the wheelchair. (figure 14)
Preparing the wheelchair for transport or storage
Caution! The electronics on the MMINOS POWER must first be
turned off.
Removing armrests
To remove the armrests, first press the button and pull the arm-
rest backwards. You can remove the armrest by turning it until
the bolt is loosened, after which you can lift it up. (see chapter 7).
Removing the backrest
The backrest can also be removed by loosening the butterfly
screws and pushing up the handles.
Leg rests
You can remove the leg supports. To remove a leg support, first
press the handle and turn the leg support outwards, then pull the
leg support upwards. (see chapter 8).
Battery containers
The batter containers can be removed via the back of the wheel-
chair (see figure 15). First, disconnect the grey and completely
black plugs (see figure 16).
Push the first battery container forwards and lift it by the han-
