Assembly instructions for BeSafe iZi Kid Handicap, BeSafe iZi Comfort Handikap
BeSafe iZi Comfort and BeSafe iZi Kid original assembly instructions must be used
when installing the seat in a car, and putting a child in the seat.
You will find the latest instructions at www.hts.no. Both of the seats feature the same
equipment, a) Pommel b) adjustable side support c) extra head support.
Adjustment and adaptations
Head support
The height of the support is adjusted using a Velcro system. See fig. 1.
Lateral adjustment of side support
Before you begin the adjustment, try the child in the chair and see how much
adjustment is needed. A snug fit is an advantage, so that the child is well supported.
1. Withdraw the side padding, (Black plastic part) see fig.2.
2. Press in the lock block, see fig 3, you are now allowed to choose
the desired side position.
3. Make sure that the spring-loaded mechanism clicks into place,
and that you cannot move it laterally.
4. Replace the side padding, see fig. 2, and pull down the zip fastener.
Height adjustment of side support
1. Open the zip fastener
2. Loosen the square in PP (stiff wedge under the cover), which is fitted
with Velcro. Be careful not to break the plate, see fig 4.
3. Grip the whole adjustable side support, and loosen it from the Velcro.
4. Now you can adjust it upwards and downwards to the desired position.
5. Replace the adjustable side support firmly and check that it is well in place.
You cannot change any of the fixing details.
6. Replace the plate. One of the ends of the plate is thin. When the adjustable
side support is in the upper position, the thin part must be up, and when
the side support is down, the thin part must be down.
7. Close the zip fastener.
Pommel
This is removed for washing. Be careful so that the Velcro does
not loosen when you remove this.
Cleaning
When removing the cover, follow the BeSafe iZi Comfort and
BeSafe iZi Kid original assembly instructions, except for the washing instructions.
Washing: Hand wash 40 degrees, drip dry

BeSafe Multi original assembly instructions must be used when installing the
seat in a car, and putting a child in the seat
Adjustment and adaptations

2. Set to the desired height, see fig. 5, do not go outside the Velcro area.

3. Replace the adjustable side support firmly and check that it is well in place.
Cleaning

original assembly instructions, except for the washing instructions.
