1. Turn the temperature controller (1) to "OFF".
2. Insert the mains plug into an easily ac-
cessible and properly installed socket
(220–240 V~ / 50 Hz).
3. Turn the temperature controller (1) to a
middle value.
4. Close the appliance door and wait three
to four hours before putting any food into
the freezer. With a very high ambient tem-
perature, for example, in the summer, you
should wait more than four hours before
storing food.
