6. Setting up
Set up on a solid, level floor with maximum load-bearing capa-
city.
For stationary workstations, check horizontal levelling with spirit
level. If necessary Adjusting adjustable base [} Page 11] or
use shim wedges.
Article no. 948121 and 948122: Maintain a gap of at least four cm
between cabinet rear and wall.
Ambient temperature: -10 °C to +40 °C.
6.1. ADJUSTING ADJUSTABLE BASE
NOTICE
Limited load-bearing capacity
Damage from overloading adjustable base.
» When using the adjustable base, note load-bearing capacity re-
duced to 500 kg.
» Before adjusting the adjustable base, completely clear out the
cabinet.
» Do not screw the adjustable base's thread all the way in. Keep
0.5 cm of thread protruding.

ü Computer workstation is completely empty.
1. Take lower storage shelf out of cabinet by lifting it at the holes
on the sides.
CAUTION! Risk of cuts. Wear safety gloves.
2. Adjust four levelling feet inside the cabinet using a 5-mm Allen
key.
3. Use a spirit level to check horizontal levelling.
4. Repeat procedure until cabinet is perfectly level.
6.2. SECURE COMPUTER DESK AGAINST TOPPLING
Applies to: Article no. 948101.

CAUTION
Cabinet, roller cabinet or rack toppling
Risk of injury to hands, feet or body.
» It is essential the cabinet is secured against toppling.
» Wear safety shoes and safety gloves.
» Do not store workpieces unsecured.
» Do not open several drawers at once.
» Keep cabinet shell cover clear of objects during transport.
» Set down heavy objects slowly.
» Ensure during movement and transport that all drawers and cup-
board doors are closed and locked.
» Comply with the maximum load capacity.
NOTICE
Wiring and pipes in wall
Damage to wiring and pipes.
» Check wall for sufficient load-bearing capacity before drilling.
» Use suitable drilling tools and materials.
» Use suitable protective equipment.
» Have trained personnel drill holes.
» Do not drill holes close to wiring or pipes.
ü Wall plugs and screws chosen to match wall.
ü Floor has sufficient load-bearing capacity.
1. Mark drilling spots through the holes in the cabinet's rear and
move cabinet out of the way.
2. Drill holes in wall, insert wall plugs and screw cabinet to wall.
7. Assembly

7.1. INFO POINT
7.1.1. Monitor

For 24-inch flat screen.
ü Monitor frame is free of dust and grease.
ü Bracket and pedestal removed from monitor.
1. Unlock and open panel for keyboard and mouse.
2. On the panel, use a 4-mm offset screwdriver to remove one
screw on the right and left side.
3. Remove the frame.
4. Remove the masking strip on the adhesive tape inside the
frame.
5. Insert the monitor and press it firmly onto the frame.
6. Lay the fastener straps upwards across the monitor housing.
7. Secure the monitor using the fastener straps.
8. Connect the monitor to all required cables.
9. Attach the frame and monitor to the INFO Point.
10. Screw two screws back in with the 4-mm offset screwdriver.
11. Remove the cap in the panel and use a screwdriver to push out
the punch-out in the cap.
12. Route monitor cables downwards.
13. Proceed with Mouse, keyboard and barcode scanner
[} Page 11].
7.1.2. Mouse, keyboard and barcode scanner
1. Place mouse, keyboard and barcode scanner on panel.
2. Route cable downwards through cable opening.
3. Route cable through cap and insert cap.
7.1.3. Computer
1. Unlock and open cabinet compartment for computer.
2. Put computer inside.
» Ensure adequate circulation of air. Observe gap between fan
and wall.
3. Connect monitor, keyboard, mouse and barcode scanner to
computer. Observe computer manual.
4. Remove the cap in the casing's rear and use a screwdriver to
push out the punch-out in the cap.
5. Route out the required cables, such as power and network
cables.
6. Route cable through cap and insert cap.
7. Close and lock cabinet compartment.
7.2. COMPUTER DESK
7.2.1. Shelf
Slot into punched slots.
7.2.2. Laptop compartment
1. Route charger cable inwards.
2. Route cable through cap and insert cap.
3. Slot laptop compartment into punched slots.
4. Route charger cable to the rear through cable pass-through.
7.2.3. Monitor
ü Bracket and pedestal removed from monitor.
1. Position monitor as desired on computer desk.
2. Screw monitor onto computer desk from behind with four
screws.
3. Route cables to the rear through cable pass-through.
7.2.4. Mouse and keyboard
1. Place mouse and keyboard on shelf or laptop compartment.
2. Route cables to the rear through cable pass-through.
