Before first Use
Remove any labels from the cookware.
Pour water and 3 tbsp. vinegar into the pots and cook the water-
vinegar solution for approx. 10 minutes. Thoroughly rinse the pots
and dry well.
Rinse the pan under hot water and dry well.
Before storing, rub the coating lightly with edible oil or shortening.
Use the cooking zone whose diameter corresponds to the diameter
of the cookware.
Using the Pots
Only use the highest setting for cooking food with a high liquid
content and afterwards turn down to middle or low energy supply.
When cooking water-reduced food, use low energy setting and
avoid removing the lid during the cooking process.
Using the Pan
When frying with fat, always put fat into the empty pan and turn to
high energy supply. When the fat begins to some lightly, place the
food to be fried into the pan. This way you avoid overheating the
non-stick coating.
When frying without fat, heat up the pan to medium temperature at
most and make sure not to overheat the pan and the food to be
fried.
Cleaning
Do not allow food residue to dry on the cookware. Simply wipe out
the cookware with kitchen towel or clean the cookware with hot
water and detergent. Preferably, remove food and soak the rem-
nants in the cookware in a bit of water and detergent while it is still
warm.
Do not use steel wool or abrasive cleaners which contain sand and
do not clean the cookware with the abrasive side of sponges.
