SMS 4: none of the calls made on PSTN line was succ essful
SMS 5: periodical super vision c all
SMS 6: SIM expiry
6.2 TEST OF THE SYSTEM
For testing the s ystem the installer/user c ode has to be entered, and then followed by key ↑ . Digit the phone number on which to s end either the
voc al or the SMS mess age, then s elect either PSTN or GSM network; in default test condition voc al mess age 4 will be sent. In test condition the
speaker phone is enabled.
6.3 ACCESS TO HISTORIC AL FILE
Access to the historical file is obtained by entering the installer/user code, and then followed by key ↓ . The historical file lists date, ti me and
name of the c all + call-result (OK: success ful c all, KO: failed repl y, OC: bus y) of the l atest 50 calls, underlining possi ble lac k of GSM-field,
absence of PSTN line, changes occ urred from remote etc. Furthermor e ther e are indications regarding leaving ( ) or incoming ( ) calls, and
the type of call SMS (S) or vocal (V).
Either by pressi ng key ESC, or after a 1 mi n.-laps e the device will return to stand- by condition.
6.4 CHANGE OF PHONE NUMBERS FROM REMOTE
It will be possi ble to c hange the phone numbers stored in listing by means of a SMS from a remote GSM; the r emote phone has to be stor ed on
the s ys tem with direct access func tion "Y" (yes). Compos e a SMS as follows (bold):
A333555666 (old number to be replaced)
The device will memorize the c hange and will consequentl y s end a SMS stating: CHANGE *333666888* C ARRIED OUT.
6.5 AUTOMATIC PIN-MANAGEMENT
It is recommendable to always take away the PIN from the SIM-card; i n cas e this should not be possible the PIN has to be changed i nto 1234.
6.6 OPERAT IONS FROM REMOTE
Call on PSTN phone line - Note: the device r eplies only if the answering messag e no. 5 h as b een recorded: call the phone dialler and let

the following possible c ommands :
digit 20 ∗ 1 # to switc h on the relay which is on board. Digit 21 ∗ 1 # to s witch on the el ectric output TC2.
-
digit 20 ∗ 0 # to switc h off the relay whic h is on board. Digit 21 ∗ 0 # to switc h-off the electric output TC2.
-
-
digit 20 # to chec k the status of the relay which is on board (see remar ks). Digit 21 # to chec k TC2.
Call on GSM module: the s ame is al ways enabl ed to repl y to inc oming c alls: it is necess ary to listen to the instructi on message, to enter USER
CODE # even during listening (if the pers on who c alls has direct access it will not be necess ary to enter the user c ode), and to proceed with the
followi ng possibl e commands:
digit 20 ∗ 1 # to switc h on the relay whic h is on board. Digit 21 ∗ 1 # to switc h on the elec tric output TC2.
-
digit 20 ∗ 0 # to switc h off the relay whic h is on board. Digit 21 ∗ 0 # to switc h-off the electric output TC2.
-
-
digit 20 # to chec k the status of the relay which is on board (see remar ks). Digit 21 # to chec k TC2.
REMARKS TO OPERAT IONS FROM REMOTE
The us er which is c alled from the device al ways has direct access to remote operation functi ons.
The correct receipt of the different digits is confirmed by the following ac oustic tones:
arming – s witc hing on
= 3 tones (beep-beep-beep)
disarming – switc hing off
= 1 tone (beep)
CALL OBSTRUCTION FROM REMOTE: when calls are r ecei ved from Voc alphone the c ycle of subsequent c alls may be i nterrupted by
