4.9 Childproof lock

The childproof lock serves to prevent children from swit-
ching on the hob accidentally or intentionally. The controls
are blocked here.
Switching on the childproof lock
1. Press the ON/OFF key
hob.
2. Immediately afterwards press the power setting display
back right and the circuit activation key
neously.
3. Then press the power setting display
order to activate the childproof lock.
The power setting indicators will show an L for child
lock, the controls will be disabled and the hob will
switch off .

4. Press the ON/OFF key
5. Immediately afterwards press the power setting display
back right and the circuit activation key
neously.
6. Then press the circuit activation key
deactivate the childproof lock. The L will go off .
De-activating the childproof lock for one cooking pro-
cedure only
This is only possible if the childproof lock has been swit-
ched on according to points 1-3.
• Press the ON/OFF key
• Immediately afterwards press the power setting display
back right and the circuit activation key
neously. The stand-by dots will blink.
Now the user will be able to switch on a cooking zone.
When the hob is switched off the childproof lock will be
activated again (switched on).
Please note
In the event of a power cut the childproof lock will not be
cancelled, i.e. it remains activated.

4.10 Keep-warm function

With the keep-warm function you can use one of the cook-
ing zones to keep food warm. The respective cooking zone
is operated at a low power level.
1. Cookware is placed on a cooking zone and a power
level (e.g. 3) is selected.
2. Pressing the sensor fi eld or moving your fi nger over it
will reduce the power level. Stop at

The keep-warm function is available for 120 minutes, after
which the hob will be switched off .
