• Never try to manipulate, modify or repair the
battery.
• After use, disconnect the battery from the
electronics of the car. Do not leave the battery
connected to the electronics if you are not
using the device (e.g. during transport or stor-
age). Otherwise, the battery could be heavily
discharged. This will destroy the battery and
make it unusable! There is also the risk of
malfunction due to interference pulses.
The motor could start unintentionally and
cause damage or injury.
• Never damage the outer shell of the battery.
Do not pierce the battery with sharp objects.
There is a risk of fire and explosion!
• Dispose of used batteries properly at the end
of their life span, at local collection points or
retailers.
Inserting the batteries into the
remote control (Fig. F)
WARNING! Observe the following
instructions to avoid mechanical and
electrical damage.
Before using the product for the first time, insert
the batteries (included).
1. With a suitable screwdriver (not included in
the package contents), loosen the screw on
the battery compartment (2h) on the bottom of
the remote control (2) and remove the
cover.
2. Carefully insert two batteries (1.5V
AAA) (15) into the battery compartment. The
batteries must be completely inside the battery
holder.
Note: check the plus/minus poles of the
batteries and insert them correctly.
3. Put the battery compartment cover onto the
battery compartment and tightly screw it back
onto the bottom of the remote control.
Replacing the remote control
batteries
WARNING! Observe the following
instructions to avoid mechanical and
electrical damage.
If the batteries no longer work, replace them as
described in the section "Inserting the batteries
into the remote control (Fig. F)". Remove the bat-
teries in the remote control (2) before inserting
new ones.
Charging the battery (Fig. G)
You have the option of powering the charger (3)
with the USB cable (6) provided, or with batter-
ies (batteries not included in the package con-
tents). Pay attention to the position of the switch
(3a). If the switch is on the battery symbol, the
USB cable cannot be used to charge.
1. Slide the switch (3a) to USB.
2. Connect the end (6a) of the USB cable (6)
to the USB-C connection (3c) of the battery
charger (3).
3. Plug the other end (6b) of the USB cable (6)
into a USB port on a powered-on computer or
charging station with a USB port. The charge
indicator light of the charger blinks when it is
ready.
4. Insert the battery (7) into the charger as
shown in Fig. G.
NOTE: the charging time is approx.
30 - 60 minutes.
5. The charge indicator light glows continuously
during the charging process and turns off as
soon as the battery (7) is charged.
6. After charging, remove the USB-C connector
(3c) from the end (6a) of the USB cable (6)
and remove the end (6b) of the USB cable (6)
from the USB port.
7. Insert the battery (7) into the battery compart-
ment (1b) correctly (see "Inserting the battery
into the car (Fig. H)").
Powering the charger with batteries
You can also use the charger without USB
cables. To do this, you must insert four
1.5V
LR6, AA batteries (not included in the
package contents) into the battery compartment
before use. In this event, follow the steps below:
1. With a suitable screwdriver, loosen the screw
on the battery compartment (3b) on the bot-
tom of the charger (3) and remove the battery
compartment cover.
2. Carefully insert the batteries into the
battery compartment. The batteries must be
completely inside the battery holder.
Note: check the plus/minus poles of the
batteries and insert them correctly.
3. Put the battery compartment cover onto the
battery compartment and tightly screw it back
LR03,
onto the bottom of the charger.
Note: when the batteries are flat, replace them.
4. Slide the switch (3a) to "battery". Otherwise
you cannot use batteries to power the battery
charger.
5. Insert the rechargeable battery (7) into the
charger as shown in Fig. G.
Note: the charging time is approx.
30 - 60 minutes.
6. The charge indicator light glows continuously
during the charging process and turns off as
soon as the battery (7) is charged.
7. Insert the battery (7) into the battery compart-
ment (1b) correctly (see "Inserting the battery
into the car (Fig. H)").
Inserting the battery into the
car (Fig. H)
Insert the battery (7) into the battery compart-
ment (1b) of the car (1).
Note: ensure that you insert the battery
correctly.
Removing the battery from
the car (Fig. H)
In order to remove the battery from the car, care-
fully lift one edge of the battery and remove it.
Inserting batteries into the lap
counter (Fig. I)
WARNING! Observe the following
instructions to avoid mechanical and
electrical damage.
Before using the lap counter (4) for the first time,
insert the batteries (16) (included).
1. With a suitable screwdriver, loosen the screw
on the battery compartment (4a) on the back
of the lap counter (4) and remove the cover of
the battery compartment.
2. Carefully insert the three batteries
(1.5V
LR6, AA) (16) consecutively into the
battery compartment. The batteries must be
completely inside the battery holder.
Note: check the plus/minus poles of the
batteries and insert them correctly.
3. Put the battery compartment cover onto the
battery compartment and tightly screw it back
onto the back of the lap counter.
Replacing the lap counter
batteries
WARNING! Observe the following
instructions to avoid mechanical and
electrical damage.
If the batteries no longer work, replace them as
described in the section "Inserting the batter-
ies into the lap counter (Fig. I)". Remove the
batteries in the lap counter (4) before inserting
the new ones.
Assembling the racetrack
