Connecting the car with the
remote control
To steer the car (1) with the remote control (2),
the remote control and the car must be
turned on.
1. Slide the switch (1a) on the bottom of the car
to ON to turn it on (Fig. B).
2. Push the on/off switch (2a) on the remote
control to turn it on (Fig. C).
3. The car and the remote control form a con-
nection with each other. This may take a few
seconds.
Note: the connection has been formed once
the car headlights and the speed level display
(2i) (an LED) on the remote control glow
continuously.
Disconnecting
When the product is not in use, the remote
control and the car must be turned off.
1. Slide the on/off switch on the car (1a) to OFF.
2. Press the on/off switch (2a) on the remote
control.
3. The headlight and the speed level display
light turn off.
Steering the car (Fig. N)
The car (1) can be steered in different directions
using the remote control (2).
To steer the car, hold the remote control as
described under "Operating the remote control"
and proceed as follows:
• Pull the accelerator (2f) back: car drives
forward.
• Push the accelerator (2f) forward: car drives
backward.
• Turn the steering wheel (2g) back while pull-
ing the accelerator back: car turns left.
• Turn the steering wheel (2g) forward while
pulling the accelerator back: car turns right.
• Turn the steering wheel (2g) back while
pushing the accelerator forward: car drives
backward to the left.
• Turn the steering wheel (2g) forward while
pushing the accelerator forward: car drives
backward to the right.
Setting the speed
The car (1) can drive at four different speeds.
When starting up or forming a connection with
the remote control (2), the car is set at the lowest
speed by default (the first LED on the speed level
display (2i) glows) (Fig. C).
1. Connect the remote control with the car (see
section "Connecting the car with the remote
control").
2. Push the ▲ button (2b) to increase the speed.
Note: two LEDs glow in the speed level display
(2i) on the remote control.
3. Repeat this process until four LEDs are glow-
ing. Now the car is driving at full speed.
4. Push the ▼ button (2c) to reduce the speed of
the car.
Note: drive at low speed at first, and only
increase the speed when driving safely.
Note: you can also increase or decrease the
speed while driving. To do so, push the ▲
button (2b) or the ▼ button (2c), respectively,
while accelerating.

Trimming the front axle
If the car (1) is no longer driving straight even
though you are steering forward with the remote
control (2), proceed as follows:
1. If the car drifts to the right, turn the trim knob
(2d) slightly to the left.
2. If the car drifts to the left, turn the trim knob
(2d) slightly to the right.
3. Repeat steps 1 or 2 if the car still does not
drive straight.
Note: the car must be driving while trimming.
Trimming the gas mid-position
If the car (1) is moving even though you are not
touching the accelerator (2f), you may correct
this as follows:
1. If the car is driving forward on its own, turn
the trim knob (2e) slightly to the left.
2. If the car is driving backward on its own, turn
the trim knob (2e) slightly to the right.
3. Repeat step 1 or step 2 until the car is no
longer moving on its own.
Action areas
On the bottom of the car (1) is an RFID chip (1c)
that causes the car to respond accordingly when
driving over the contact loop in the action area.
The sheet of stickers (14) contains three action
areas with special functions:
Mud slick: Car brakes.
Oil slick: Car swerves.
Arrow: Car accelerates into turbo boost.
1. Carefully remove the action areas from the
sheet of stickers and stick them onto the
desired spot on the track.
Warning! The action areas must not be
kinked.
Note: make sure that you stick the action area
lengthwise on a track (Fig. O), otherwise the car
will always be caught by the contact loop and
the special function cannot be avoided.
Warning! Do not stick the action area
between two racetrack sections.
We advise against removing the action areas, as
this could destroy them.
2. Set the on/off switch (1a) to RFID to be able
to use the special functions (Fig. B).
Note: set the switch (1a) to ON if you do not
wish to use the special functions.
3. Steer the car over the action areas.
Note: if the special function does not work,
proceed as follows:
push the on/off switch (1a) of the car (1) to OFF
and then back to RFID (Fig. B).
Driving outside of the
racetrack
You are able to drive the car (1) off the track on
smooth, level and clean surfaces (e.g. parquet,
laminate).
Note: make sure that the wheels remain clean.
Lap counter function (Fig. E)
The lap counter (4) counts the number of laps
driven and displays them in the CYCLES field
(4c). The current time and the time of the fastest
lap are displayed in the TIME field (4d).
Note: when starting, all lap and time fields are
set to 00 and 0.0, respectively.
1. Place the lap counter over a straight track
section.
2. Switch the on/off switch (4b) to ON.
3. Position the cars next to each other beneath
the lap counter.
4. Start the race and steer the cars along the
track.
5. Once the cars pass under the lap counter, the
lap counter reads 01 and the current lap time
is displayed.
6. During the second lap, the lap counter
displays the current time for approx. three
seconds, followed by the fastest time. The
CYCLES field then displays 02.
Drive as many laps as you wish. Press the RESET
button (4e) to set the lap count and time back
to 00.
Note: the lap counter counts up to 99 and then
starts again at 01.
Storage, cleaning
When the product is not in use, remove the
batteries from the remote control (2), lap counter
(4) and charger (3) (if there are batteries in
them). Make sure that there are no rechargeable
batteries (7) in the charger (3) or in the cars.
The car (1) must always be kept dry and any
dirt, such as wool fibres, hair, dust, etc., must be
removed after each use.
CAUTION: before cleaning the car (1)
and the remote control (2), the on/off
switch (1a) on the car and the on/off
switch (2a) on the remote control must
be in the OFF position. Remove the re-
chargeable battery (7) from the car.
Use a dry cloth to clean the product and avoid
water getting into contact with the electronics,
battery and motor.
Store the entire product in a dry, dust-free loca-
tion away from direct sunlight. The optimal stor-
age temperature is between 10°C and 25°C.
