II USING THE ACCESSORY KTR
The remote keypad with displ ay enables remote c ontrol and the display
of all the unit's digital and analogue pr ocess variables. It is ther efore
possible to c ontrol all the unit functions directl y in the room.

II.1 DECLARED CONDI TIONS OF USE
The KTR access ory keyboard must NOT be mounted in environments
that have thes e features:
relative humidity exc eeding 90%;
expos ure to jets of water;
expos ure to aggressive and pollutant atmospheres ( e.g. sulphur
and ammonia gases, s aline mists , fumes) with consequent
corrosion and oxidation;
high magnetic and/or radiofrequenc y interference (e.g. avoid
installation in proximity of trans mitting antennas);
expos ure to direc t solar radiati on;
environments where explosi ve or inflammable gas mi xtures are
present;
expos ure to dust.
The pr otecti on rating of the remote keyboard is IP40.
II.2 ASSEMBLY OF THE ACCESSORY
II.2.1 Fixing the panel
The panel can be fi xed:
on a standard three modules box for s witches (not supplied);
directly on the wall via the screws and plugs supplied with the kit.
Proceed as follows to fi x the panel:
fix the container bac k (A) to the standard box or the wall;
connect the telephone cable to the panel;
fix the front piec e (B) to the c ontainer bac k (A) using the screws
supplied in the kit;
install the clic k-on frame (C).
II.3
Follow thes e indications to c onnect the keyboar d:
MODE
To connec t the remote keyboard to the unit, pr oceed as described:
(*) Note: for lengths exceeding 50 m and up to 200 m, the connection
between KTR and circuit board of the c hiller/heat pump must be made
using shielded cabl e AWG 20/22 (4 wires + shiel d) and two branching
boards (use the E968573484 KIT ) as in the l ayout shown below.

ATTENTION !
Make sure that the mach ine electric po wer supply
has been removed before starting an y operation.
use 6-wire telephone c abl e and RJ 12 c onnectors;
head the c able respecting the figures;
cable l ength mus t not exceed 50m;
keep the telephone c able separate from the inducti ve and power
loads i nside the unit;
use the c abl e troughs inside the electric control board, destined for
the signal c abl es;
in the connection between remote keyboard and unit, never insert
the telephone cable and he power cable into the same c able
troughs.
remove the panel that protects the elec tric control board;
pass the telephone cable c omi ng from the remote keyboard
through the cable ducts present on the elec tric contr ol board
structure;
engage the end of the telephone c abl e on the J 13 female
connector present on the unit circuit board;
re-mount the previousl y-removed panels.
