WARNING Electrocution
Always isolate the appliance from the power supply
when performing maintenance work, using an isola-
tor with a contact opening of at least 3 mm.
f Remove the casing door.

f Shut off the heating flow, heating return and the cold

water supply.
f Clean the strainer in the dirt filter. f
f Visually inspect the appliance for leaks. f
Completing maintenance work
f Open the shut-off valves required for operation. f
f Check the condition of the appliance and clean off any f
external dirt.
f If necessary, vent the heating system. f
f Check the appliance function. f
f Check the appliance for leaks. f
f Refit the casing door. f
f Log the inspection/maintenance work performed. f

Problem Cause

Remedy
Check that all shut-off
valves in the appliance
are open.
Check that the strainer
in the dirt filter is free
from contamination.
Check whether the heat
exchanger is blocked.
Replace or clean it
with suitable cleaning
agents.
Check the rating of the
central heating pump.
Check the flow rate.
Check the start time
of the central heating
system.
Check and, if necessary,
correct the settings at
the room temperature
controller.
