10.1.1 Finished walls

Installing the casing for finished walls
Note
When positioning the heat interface unit, ensure that
the casing is flush with the finished floor.
f The casing for finished walls is available as an accessory;
f
guide its recesses from above onto the side hooks of the
appliance mounting plate.
Removing the casing door
f Open the latch of the casing door.
f
f Tilt the casing door forwards. Lift the rebate of the casing
f
door from the frame.
10.1.2 Unfinished walls
The casing for unfinished walls, available as an accessory, is
set into the wall. The appliance is installed in the casing after
it has been plastered in.
Installing the casing for unfinished walls
f Create a wall recess with the specified dimensions (see
f
chapter "Specification / dimensions and connections").
f Set the casing for unfinished walls into the wall recess.
f
f Secure the casing for unfinished walls using suitable
f
screws (not part of the standard delivery). If setting the
casing for unfinished walls into a drywall, the fixing tabs
of the casing can be used as installation aids.
f Align the casing.
f

f Guide the appliance onto the hooks in the casing. use the
f
rectangular recesses.
f Tighten the screw connection between the appliance
f
and the mounting rail or heating circuit distributor (for
torque, see chapter "Specification / dimensions and
connections").
f Connect the mounting rail or heating circuit distributor to
f
the pipework with flat gaskets.
Removing the casing door and frame
f Open the latch of the casing door.
f
f Tilt the casing door forwards. Lift the rebate of the casing
f
door from the frame.
f undo the four screws inside the corners of the casing for
f
unfinished walls.
f Remove the frame.
f

10.2 Water connection

Material losses

dirt and sludge can accumulate in the appliance and
cause overheating, noise, corrosion and faults in the
appliance.
f Thoroughly flush the heating system before con-
f
nection.
f Route the pipework up to the appliance.
f
f Connect the pipework to the shut-off valve of the appli-
f
ance ensuring that it is stress-free.
f Check the correct position of the shut-off valves.
f
