Troubleshooting

Fault: Pump does not deliver

Cause:

Air pockets in the grease
•
Suction hole is clogged by foreign particles

Fault: Hand lever blocked (no delivery possible

Cause:

Lubrication point clogged. Progressive metering device
blocked
Note: According to the progressive system principle, the entire system will be blocked if one of the lubrication points is
clogged. This feature is at the same time a means of monitoring the entire progressive system.

Remedy:

pump must be vented:
∗
Unscrew the grease reservoir by approx. 2 turns
∗
Press vigorously and several times against the piston
rod until the entrapped air is removed and grease
emerges at the female thread of the reservoir. If air
pockets cannot be eliminated in this ay, remove the
grease from the reservoir and repeat filling.
∗
Unscrew and remove grease reservoir and clean the
suction hole

Remedy:
∗
Loosen all lubrication point connections on the SSV
metering device one after the other in order to find the
blocked lubrication point
∗
Eliminate the blockage
