 Before installation
Before installation, open the knock-out holes in the indoor
unit.
 Pipe connections
• Always use two wrenches to connect pipes.
• Use a torque wrench when tightening the flared pipes on
the indoor and outdoor units, and tighten them to the
specified torque.
Refer to the following table for the tightening torque.

 Heat insulating process
• Apply insulation separately to both the liquid pipes and the
gas pipes.
• Use the heat insulating pipe provided with this product and
the indoor unit to insulate the pipe fittings and do not leave
any gaps when applying the heat insulating pipe.
• Completely cover the knockout hole on the indoor unit with
the heat insulator provided with the indoor unit.
