Warning! Some rice manufacturers do not recommend rinsing, which can remove some of the nutrients.
Always fill the container in following sequence, first the rice and then water.
Recommendations for connecting the product to power supply
Before connecting the product to power supply, make sure that the voltage, frequency, and capacity of mains supply correspond
to values shown on the product rating plate. Plug must fit into the socket. Any modifications of plug are forbidden.
Product must be connected directly to a single power outlet. It is forbidden to use extension cords, socket-outlet adapters and
double power outlets. Power supply circuit must be fitted with a protective conductor and a 16 A protection circuit.
Avoid any contact of power cord with sharp edges and hot objects and surfaces. When operating the product, the power cord must
always be fully unwound and its position may not interfere with the operation of product. Laying of power cable cannot result in
tripping hazard. Power outlet should be located in such a place as to always allow the possibility of quick disconnecting the plug
of power cord supplying the product. When disconnecting the plug of power cord, always pull the plug, never the cable.
If the power cord or plug is damaged, disconnect it immediately from the mains and contact an authorized manufacturer's service
center for replacement. Do not use the product with a damaged power cord or plug. Power cord or plug cannot be repaired, in
case of damage to these components, replace them with new ones without defects.

PRODUCT HANDLING

Product installation, start-up and handling
Product should be unpacked, and all packaging components should be completely removed. It is recommended to keep the
packaging; it may be helpful for subsequent product transportation and storage.
Choose the place of installation as per the aforementioned recommendations.
Wash the product according to instructions contained in "Product Maintenance" section.
Take out the rice container from the cooker and then fill the container with rice. For filling, use the scoop attached to the product.
Fill the container with water to level corresponding to volume of rice. For example, if 10 scoops of rice mills were poured into
container, water should be added to level 10 mark on the container's scale. Level of water in the container can never exceed the
mark indicating maximum fill. Lowest container scale line represents the lowest level of water in container.
The table below indicates reference values regarding rice preparation.

Note! If the brown or wild rice is being prepared, add extra 1/4 scoop of water.
Rice in the container should be levelled.
Place the container with rice and water in the cooker by sliding it into the cooker, and then turn it slightly to the left and right until
it is properly positioned in the cooker
Warning! Make sure that the outer surface of container is clean and dry. Water or impurities that are left on the outer side of
container can result in „creaking" sound in the course of operation of the appliance, increasing the time of operation, or even may
cause damage to the appliance.
Close the lid and make sure that the latch was tripped. Half-open lid will affect the rice cooking process.
Plug the power cord into a mains socket.
Press the switch, the „COOKING" indicator will light up, the rice cooking process starts.
When cooking process is finished, the switch will automatically switch off, which is indicated by a change of position and sound
of electrical contactor. „COOKING" indicator light goes off and „KEEP WARM" indicator begins to light. This indicates starting
of keep warm process.
When cooking process is finished, leave the lid closed for at least 15 minutes, this allows the rice cooked to evaporate.
Open the lid by pressing the latch release button, then mix the rice well with the spoon and take it out of the container.
WARNING! If the whole rice is taken out of the container after evaporation, and before lid opening, unplug the power cord from
the socket. Keep warm function will be active as long as the cooker is connected to power supply. It is not recommended to use
the keep warm function for too long, over several hours. Too long use of this function can result in discolouring rice and changing
its taste.
Before closing the lid again in order to maintain the temperature of rice remaining in the cooker, remove the rice serving spoon or
other utensils from the inside of the cooker.
After completion of work, cooker should be disconnected from the power supply for its maintenance.
