MULTI-USE POWER BLENDER

INTENDED USE

Use the device only for the purpose intended. Any other use may result in damage
to the device or injuries.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

Read this instruction manual carefully before using the appliance and keep it for
future reference.
1. Use the appliance only for its intended purpose. Improper use may result in an
electric shock, fire or serious injury.
2. Before connecting the appliance to the power supply, check that the voltage
indicated on the appliance (underside of the jug and power base) corresponds
with the voltage in your home. If this is not the case, do not use the appliance
and contact the retail outlet immediately.
3. Only connect the appliance to an earthed wall socket.
4. The cable has a short design to prevent accidents. Do not use an extension cord.
5. This blender is for household use only. It is not suitable for commercial, industrial
or outdoor use.
6. This appliance is intended to be used in households and similar applications
such as:
- staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
- farm houses;
- by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
- bed and breakfast type environments.
7. Do not operate the blender with no ingredients or water inside the jug.
8. Do not use the blender for hard food such as bones, shelled nuts or shelled
seafood, as this may damage the blades or motor of the appliance.
9. Do not attempt to remove or replace the jug while the motor is running.
10. Ensure the lid is properly closed and the feed cap is in place before each use. Do
not open the lid when the appliance is switched on.
11. WARNING - Never place your fingers, hands or utensils inside the blender jug.
If necessary, insert the stirring rod through the feed cap for assistance during
blending.
12. Do not move the appliance when it is switched on or touch any moving
components, as this may cause an accidental injury.
13. Always unplug the appliance immediately after use and before cleaning and
storing.
14. Only use the blender with the power base supplied.
15. The use of accessories or fittings other than the original parts supplied with this
appliance may result in an injury, fire or damages and will void the warranty.
16. Do not immerse the appliance or electrical parts of the appliance in water or
any other liquids. Never place them under running water (see CLEANING AND
CARE).
17. To prevent spillages, do not fill the blender above the 1750mL/56oz (MAX)
marking for cold preset programs or above the 400mL/48oz making for hot
preset programs.
18. RISK OF BURNS - During a hot preset program, the lid will emit hot steam and

may spill hot liquid if overfilled. Take care and avoid direct contact.
