• Let the blender rest for 30 minutes. If the blender cannot be turned ON after
30 minutes, contact the manufacturer or an authorized service center for
maintenance.

CLEANING AND CARE

• CAUTION - Always unplug the appliance from the wall socket and let it cool
down before cleaning.
• Do not immerse the motor base, jug collar or power cord in water or other
liquids or allow moisture to come into contact with these parts.
• Never use solvents, chemical or abrasive cleaning agents, wire brushes, sharp
objects or scouring pads to clean the product.
CLEANING
• Clean the blender thoroughly before first use and before preparing food.
• Clean the blender after each use, and after storing for a long period of time.
• CAUTION - Remove the jug from the base for cleaning. The blades inside the jug
are very sharp. Wear protective gloves when touching the blades. Use the brush
provided to clean the blades.
• IMPORTANT - DO NOT attempt to remove the glass jug from the built-in collar.
The glass jug, handle, cooking plate and collar form one complete unit.
• Clean the interior of the jug with a cloth and warm soapy water and rinse well.
Wipe the exterior of the jug with a soft damp cloth. DO NOT immerse or rinse
the collar.
• Wash the lid, feed cap, measuring cup and stirring rod in warm, soapy water.
Rinse well and allow to dry.
CLEANING WITH THE PULSE FUNCTION
• To quickly clean the jug, fill the jug half-full with a warm dish detergent solution.
Close the lid and the feed cap.
• Press the pulse button for 1 minute to clean the jug and the blades (see PULSE
FUNCTION section). Press the START/STOP button to return to Standby Mode
and unplug the blender.
• Remove the jug, rinse the interior well and allow it to dry.
CLEANING THE MOTOR BASE
• Ensure the motor base is unplugged.
• Never immerse the motor base in water or other liquids.
• Wipe the motor base with a soft cloth moistened with water or a mild dish
detergent solution. Wipe clean and dry thoroughly.
