Your device has a fi lter system. The traditional dust bag system
has been replaced by a transparent dust container. In this, coar-
se dirt particles and tiny particles fl oating in the air are swirled
out of the suction air by the high speed of the air current.
Main Filter (in the Dust Container)
Once the dust level has reached the MAX mark on the dust con-
tainer, or the suction power of the vacuum cleaner is reduced,
please proceed as follows:
Emptying the Dust Container
In order to facilitate handling, fi rst
release the suction tube from the con-
nection head (see "Initial Operation").

Filter
Turn the device off and remove the
mains plug.
Press the button to release the
dust container and remove it from
the vacuum cleaner.
Empty the content of the dust con-
tainer; to do so turn the lid of the
dust container in an anticlockwise
direction.
Then close the lid of the dust
container again, paying attention
to the hook on the lid.
Press the button to release the
dust container and then remove it
(see illustration 1).
Turn the lid in an anticlockwise
direction and remove it together
with the fi lter insert.
Turn the fi lter element in the
„OPEN" direction to remove it
from the lid. Remove the fi lter
element and clean the main fi lter
by tapping out the contents and
gently brushing.
Then reattach the fi lter insert. The
marking
on the edge of the
fi lter insert points to the I/OPEN
mark on the lid. Please then turn
the fi lter element in the CLOSE
direction until it is tight.
Place the lid on the dust container,
turning it tight in a clockwise
direction (illustration 3).
Tighten the dust container and the
suction tube again until it clicks
into place.
Every third time the dust container is
emptied, or in the case of severe soi-
ling, clean the fi lter by allowing water
to fl ow through the fi lter fabric against
the direction in which the vacuum
cleaner blows. The dust container
should only be reinserted when it is
completely dry!
Now place this back in position once it
has completely dried!
Caution: Never wash the fi lter in the
washing machine, and please do
not use a hairdryer to dry it.
Motor protection fi lter (inlet fi lter)
The inlet fi lter is located under the fi lter insert in the dust
container cavity. Unscrew the fi lter insert from the lid, as
described above.
Pull the fi lter out towards the front. Clean the motor
protection fi lter approximately every 10th time you empty the
dust container. If necessary, the fi lter can also be washed in
warm water without any additives. Place it back into place
only once it is completely dry!
Important note!
Cleaning may become necessary after a shorter time,
depending on the conditions of use, e.g. when vacuuming
fi ne dust.
If the suction power of your vacuum cleaner diminishes
please clean the fi lters as described.
If the suction power suddenly diminishes during operation
this may be due to the fi lters being locked.

Cleaning and storage

Cleaning
Pull the plug out of the socket before cleaning!
Clean the casing with a dry cloth.
Clean the motor protection fi lter approximately every 10.
time the vacuum cleaner is emptied. Clean the fi lter in hot
water without additives. Put it back into place only once it is
completely dry.
Storage
Let the iron cool down completely.
Unwind the cable completely.
The device should only be stored in a horizontal position. Do
not place it vertically on the cable take-up, as this might be
damaged.
