Your vacuum cleaner is equipped with the following filters:
- Hygienic exhaust filter (Fig. 26/1)
(Zchapter 4.5, "Cleaning the hygienic exhaust filter")
2
- Motor protection filter (Fig. 26/2)
(Zchapter 4.4, "Cleaning the motor protection filter")
The filters may get dirty with time and therefore must be
checked regularly.
Comply with the inspection intervals specified below.
Replace damaged or deformed filters immediately.
The motor protection filter (Fig. 28) prevents larger parti-
cles from destroying the motor.
Checking: Check the motor protection filter each time
you empty the dust container.
Cleaning: If you find that the filter is dirty, clean it as de-
scribed below. However, the filter should be cleaned at
least every 3 – 6 months.

specified under Zchapter 3.3, "Switching off the appli-
ance and retracting the power cord".
2. Remove the dust container, Zchapter 3.5, "Emptying
1
and cleaning the dust container", steps 1-3.
3. Release the filter cover (Fig. 27/1) and remove it.
4. Remove the motor protection filter together with the
holder from the filter bracket at the tab provided for this
purpose, bottom right (Fig. 28).
