• Comply with the regulations for connection to the water mains in force in the country where the CBM
module is installed.
WARNING
• Follow the instructions for connection to the water mains given in the section
" , with particular reference to the priming depth and the supply pressure and temperature:

in the event of any doubts, contact a Specialist Technician.
• When suctioning, a filter of suitable size must always be provided for motor pump – check often that
it is clean.
• Do not allow the motor pump to run:
- without a water supply;
- with water that is brackish or contains impurities. If this should occur, operate for a few minutes
with pure water.
CAUTION
• Follow the instructions in the manual of the machine that incorporates the CBM module and
in that of the EVERFLO motor pump, with particular reference to the parts related to safety
warnings, the any use of personal protective equipment (safety goggles, ear defenders, etc.)
and handling.
• Before starting the machine that incorporates the CBM module, read the manual, this manual and the
EVERFLO motor pump manual carefully. In particular, ensure that the operation of the CBM module
and the machine that incorporates are understood with regard to liquid shut-off procedures.
• The CBM module and the machine that incorporates it are non not designated for use by persons
(including children) whose physical, sensory or mental capacities are impaired or who lack experience
or knowledge.
• Children must be supervised to ensure they do not play with the CBM module and the machine that
incorporates it.
• During operation:
- always keep CBM module and the machine that incorporates it under observation and out of reach
of children; in particular, take great care when using it in crèches, nursing homes or retirement
homes, as children, elderly or disabled persons may be present without supervision;
- do not direct high-pressure jets against materials containing asbestos or other substances hazardous
to health;
- do not cover the CBM module and the machine that incorporates it and do not place it in locations
with no adequate ventilation (remember this especially when using the machine indoors);
- when not in operation and before any intervention, carry out the procedures described in the

- the operating pressure must never exceed the maximum rated value for the machine (see also the

- use appropriate personal protective equipment against noise emitted (e.g. ear defenders).
• CAUTION. Do not use the CBM module or the machine that incorporates it in the vicinity of persons
unless they are wearing protective clothing.
• CAUTION. Do not direct high-pressure jets at yourself or other people to clean clothing or footwear.
• CAUTION. High pressure jets may be dangerous if used incorrectly. High pressure jets must not be
directed towards persons, live electrical equipment, the CBM module or the machine itself.
• CAUTION. Risk of explosion - Do not spray flammable liquids.
• Do not use the CBM module in the rain.
