c) System protection fuse.
This device stops operation of the CBM module in the event of overcurrent.
In the event of intervention, proceed as follows, observing the instructions given in the manual of
the machine that incorporates the CBM module:
• stop the machine and disconnect the power supply;
• purge any residual pressure from the high pressure circuit;
• replace the fuse (also refer to the section
• reconnect the power supply and repeat the start-up procedure.
CAUTION
• In the event of repeated intervention, do not use the CBM module (and therefore the machine that
incorporates it) without first having it checked by a Specialist Technician
CAUTION
• The CBM module must not be operated independently, but is designated solely for incorporation
in a machine.
• The CBM module is exclusively designated to be incorporated into machines for the following uses:
- spraying and crop protection treatment in agriculture and gardening;
- pumping of detergents and dyes in aqueous solution;
- pumping of non food-grade water.
• The CBM module is not designated for incorporation into machines for the pumping of:
- aqueous solutions with higher densities and viscosities than water;
- solutions of chemicals of which there is no certainty of compatibility with the materials constituting
the CBM module and the EVERFLO incorporated motor pump;
- sea water or water with a high salt concentrations;
- fuels or lubricants of all types;
- flammable liquids or liquefied gases;
- liquids for food use;
- solvents and thinners of all types;
- paints of all types;
- liquids with temperatures above 40°C / 104°F or below 5°C / 41°F;
- liquids containing granules or solids in suspension.
• The CBM module must not be incorporated into machines designated for washing: persons, animals,
live electrical equipment, delicate objects, the CBM module itself or the machine in which it is
incorporated.
• The CBM module is not suitable for incorporation into machines designated to operate in special
environments such as corrosive or explosive atmospheres.
• For incorporation into machines designated for use on board vehicles, ships or aircraft, contact the
Manufacturer's Technical Support Service, as additional requirements may be required.
Any other use is considered improper.
The Manufacturer cannot be held liable for any damage resulting from improper or erroneous
use.
INSTALLATION AND PRELIMINARY PROCEDURES
CAUTION
• The Specialist Technician is required to comply with the installation instructions given in this manual.
• The machine that incorporates the CBM module must be implemented in such a way as to
ensure compliance with the safety requirements set out in the European Directives.
