Symptom
Noise or sound
distorted on DAB/FM
broadcast
CD player will not play
CD skips while playing
Intermittent sound
from CD player
BT: no sound
Sound appears
distorted at high
volume setting
Possible Cause
- Station not tuned
properly for DAB or
FM.
- DAB/FM telescopic
antenna is not
extended.
Unit not in CD function
mode.
- If the CD is self-
compiled, the media
used may not be
compatible with the
player.
- Exhausted battery
Disc is dirty or
scratched.
- Dirty or defective disc
- Dirty pick up lens
- Player is subject to
excessive shock or
vibration
- BT speaker is not
linked with the mobile
device
- Speaker placement
out of range
- Volume control is set
to maximum.
- Batteries become
low.
Solution
- Retune the DAB or
FM broadcast station.
- DAB/FM: Extend
DAB or FM telescopic
antenna.
- Select CD function
mode.
- Load CD with label
side up.
- Use better quality
blank media and
retest.
- Replace all old
batteries.
- Wipe CD with clean
cloth or use another
disc.
- Clean or replace the
defective disc.
- Use a CD lens
cleaning disc to clean
the lens.
- Relocate the player
away from shock or
vibration.
- Go through the "BT
Operations" process to
link the speakers.
- Relocate the speaker
within BT operating
range.
Adjust Volume Control
to a lower comfortable
level.
- Replace all the old
batteries with new
ones.
