RBSS Wheel Assembly Kit Components
The Return Belt Speed Sensor wheel assembly kit consists of:
•
one wheel assembly, complete with sealed bearing and 60 tooth gear
•
two RBSS bushings, used to position wheel in housing
•
two ½" flat washers
•
one ½" -13 x 4½" hex head bolt
•
one ½" - 13 locking hex nut
Replacement and Assembly
RBSS with blue wheel
1.
Remove ½" locking hex nut and remove ½" hex head bolt from RBSS wheel
assembly.
2.
Discard bolt, locking nut, as well as ½" washers, bushings and used wheel
assembly.
3.
Assemble new wheel according to diagram shown on page 2.
RBSS with red wheel
1.
Remove ½" bolt from rivet. Use 7/8" (22 mm) drill bit to drill out and discard the worn
threaded rivet.
Internally threaded rivet. Drill
out and increase hole size
with 7/8" (22 mm) drill bit.
2.
Use 7/8" (22 mm) drill bit to enlarge the rivet hole.
3.
Discard used shoulder bolt, washers, and bushings and used wheel assembly.
4.
Assemble new wheel according to diagram shown on page 2.
RBSS with black wheel
The wheel assembly kit described in this manual is not applicable to the RBSS units with
the black wheel. The bearings and the wheel can be replaced with other components.
