5.2 Teach Instructions (Single Value Teach in
Single Point Mode)
The Single Value Teach in Single Point Mode is
explained using switch point 1 (SP1).
For the Single Value Teach in Single Point Mode applied
here, both setpoints are taught in at the same time.
Setpoint 2 is calculated with the hysteresis defined by
Index 0x003D Subindex 0x03 and SP1.
Requirements
The sensor is installed, aligned and in IO-Link mode.
Teach-in
1. Position the object within the measuring range.
2. Teach in the teach point: Send system command 0x41
to the sensor.

3. Verify whether SP1 has been taught in successfully:
Read out and check the Teach-In-Status parameter
using index 0x003B.
