Connection board exchange

CAUTION
Exchanging the connection board when voltage is applied is not permitted.

NOTE
- If necessary the HW version on the license plate must be permanently erased
after having exchanged the connection board necessary and the new HW ver-
sion labeled appropriately.
- The housing cover must be closed tight again after having exchanged the con-
nection board.


The following description shows how you can change the connection board 
7MF 4997 1DN or 7MF 4997 1DP in the connection room of the transmitter.
1. Switch off the current to the device.
2. Screw off the cover of the electronic connection room (8, Figure 4, page 56 and
Figure 5, page 56).
3. Remove the screw which is fixed in the connection board (11, Figure 4, page 56
and Figure 5, page 56). Pay attention to the washers (tooth lock washers)

screws (with approx. 1.7 Nm) and tooth lock washers (Figure 27, page 63).
6. Screw down the housing cover tight again.
7. If necessary the HW version on the license plate must be permanently erased
and the new HW version labeled appropriately.
