(GB) Operating Instructions Plug-in Charger
With the ASC 9 plug-in charger you can charge 2 or 4
nickel-cadmium (NiCd) or nickel-metal hydride (NIMH)
battery packs of the type Mignon/AA/UM3/R6 or
Micro/AAA/UM4/R3/KR10/44 simultaneously.
Safety precautions:
•
This device is suitable only for charging nickel-
cadmium (NiCd) or nickel-metal hydride (NiMH)
battery packs. Any attempt to charge other
(non-rechargeable) batteries or battery packs
can cause serious damage and is therefore not
permitted.
•
Do not use leaking or corroding battery packs.
•
Do not use the charger outdoors.
•
Always remove the device from the mains
socket before cleaning.
•
In the event of malfunction, have the device
repaired by a specialist.
1. Insert 2 or 4 battery packs in the charger. The
device cannot charge 1 or 3 battery packs. If
you only want to charge 2 battery packs, place
them next to each other, either in the top or
bottom chamber. Wherever possible, charge
only battery packs of the same type and
approximately the same capacity at the same
time.
2. Make sure that the battery packs are connected
with the correct polarity (+ and -, see illustration
in the charging compartment) and that perfect
contact is guaranteed.
3. Insert the mains plug into the main socket.
4. The two red LED control lamps indicate that the
battery packs are being charged correctly.

5. To end charging upon completion of the
charging time (see table), simply disconnect the
device from the mains socket and remove the
battery packs.
6. Please note that charging times vary according
to the capacity (see battery pack imprint) and
condition of the battery pack.

Mit dem Steckerladegerät ACS 9 können Sie 2 oder 4

Mikro/AAA/UM4/R3/KR10/44 gleichzeitig laden.
Sicherheitshinweise:
•
Das Gerät ist ausschließlich zum Laden von
Nickel-Cadmium (NiCd)
Metallhydrid (NiMH)
Versuch des Ladens anderer (nichtaufladbarer)
Batterien oder Akkus kann zu schweren
Schäden führen und ist daher unzulässig.
•
Verwenden Sie keine
korrodierenden Akkus.
•
Benutzen Sie das Ladegerät nicht im Freien.
•
Vor dem Reinigen das Gerät bitte unbedingt
aus der Steckdose ziehen.
•
Bei eventuell auftretenden Störungen lassen
Sie das Gerät bitte vom Fachmann reparieren.
1. Legen Sie 2 oder 4 Akkus in das Ladegerät ein.
Es können nicht 1 oder 3 Akkus geladen
werden. Wenn Sie nur 2 Akkus laden wollen,
legen Sie diese bitte nebeneinander, entweder
in den oberen oder den unteren Schacht ein.
