Installation

Switch off mains voltage.
Standard transformers (copper-iron) must not be con-
nected to this dimmer (loss of warranty).
The flush-mounted dimmer is installed in a insulated
flush-mounted socket-outlet made of insulating material.
The built-in dimmer for distributions is latched onto a
mounting- rail acc. to EN 50022. The dimmer 6513-102-500
must only be operated with its proper covers.
The electronic protection and radio interference suppres-
sion are set for the following load types:
• incandescent lamps,
• 230 V halogen incandescent lamps and
• ABB Electronic transformers.
Radio interference suppression is observed acc. to
EN 55014 with e. g. 6 x ABB electronic transformer
6570-60, loaded with 6 x 50 W.
A maximum of 6 ABB Electronic transformers for low-
voltage halogen lamps may be connected (see Fig. 1, 2, 3).
