Troubleshooting

If short-circuits occur on the load, the electronic system
protects the dimmer by interrupting the selection of the
load directly. Normal functioning is reached after the re-
moval of the short-circuits lasting longer (t ≥ approx. 4 sec.)
when the dimmer has been taken into operation again or
after temporary short-circuits (t < approx. 4 sec.) auto-
matically.
In case of an unpermitted temperature increase (e. g.
overload), the ABB dimmer 6513-102-500 reduces itself to
minimum brightness and interrupts the selection of load
when the temperature increase persits.
Check the load of the dimmer and reduce it if necessary
in order to restore normal function. Allow the dimmer to
cool down for a short period before putting it back into
operation.
