2. Push the brush or the drive plate [20, Fig. G]
with the bayonet ring [19, Fig. L] onto the
driver [18, Fig. G] and lock it against turning in
an anti-clockwise direction ().
3. If necessary, attach the relevant tool onto the
drive plate or the relevant ETX diamond tools.
4. Set the machine upright.
4.2.2 Detaching smoothing tools
1. Using the switch [4, Fig. A], briefly change the
direction of rotation from

The smoothing tool is unlocked.

2. Tilt the machine (! Chapter 4.1).
3. Take the smoothing tool off the
driver [18, Fig. G].
4. Mount another tool or planetary gear
(! Chapter 4.2).
5. Set the machine upright.

4.2.3 Mounting the planetary gear

The planetary gear [26, Fig. L] is mounted directly
onto the driver.
1. Tilt the machine (! Chapter 4.1).
2. Push the planetary gear [26, Fig. L] with the
bayonet ring [19, Fig. L] onto the
driver [18, Fig. G] and keep it pressed.
3. Turn on an ETX locating plate [30, Fig. N] until
the struts [25, Fig. L] of the housing latch into
the grooves [27, Fig. L] of the planetary gear.
4. Mount the bolt plate [29, Fig. P].
The bolt plate prevents the planetary gear from
releasing itself from the driver.
5. Mount the triple-disc tools
(! Chapter 4.2.4).
6. Set the machine upright.

4.2.4 Mounting the triple-disc tools

Tools are mounted onto the 3 ETX locating plates
[30, Fig. P] of the planetary gear either directly or
with a Velcro disc [31, Fig. T].
All ETX locating plates must be equipped

with tools of the same type and the same

Mounting Velcro discs and other triple-disc tools
Each ETX locating plate is equipped with 3 bayonet
openings for the fixing of Velcro discs or other
triple-disc tools (! Fig. Q].
1. Tilt the machine (! Chapter 4.1).
2. Latch the bayonet bolts [33] of the Velcro discs
or other triple-disc tools into the bayonet
openings [32] by turning in an anti-clockwise
direction ().
3. If necessary, fix the relevant grinding discs or
diamond pads onto the Velcro discs.
4. Set the machine upright.

4.2.5 Mounting ETX diamond tools

Each ETX locating plate is equipped with intake slots
for ETX diamond tools.
All ETX diamond tools authorised for this
machine are removed and mounted in the same
manner.
1. Tilt the machine (! Chapter 4.1).
Detaching
— With a light stroke of a lump hammer, release the
tools [35, Fig. R] from the ETX locating
plate [30, Fig. R] and remove them.
Mounting
— Insert the new tools into the ETX intake slot
[34, Fig. R] of the ETX locating plate and firmly
press in the arrow direction (use lump hammer if
required).
2. Set the machine upright.

4.3 Attaching the tank

1. Release the tank bracket [3, Fig. A/F] and push
upwards on the guide bar [2, Fig. A].
2. Put on the tank [16, Fig. F] and fix with the tank
bracket.
3. Connect the hose ports [15, Fig. E] with the
watering hose.
4. Hang the valve chain [17, Fig. F] from the
watering lever [12, Fig. B].
