AED
The AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) is an important device for primary help in case of cardiac
arrest. It is vital that the AED is protected, secured and available 24/7 for immediate assistance in
case of an emergency.
Operator/ user
The person who is responsible for the cabinet and AED. His/ her duty is to check the status of the
AED and Cabinet and assure operation complying to the directives as described in this manual.
