Be careful: If the wall is not very strong, we recommend to use Fischer VS 100P. After spraying the
fluid into the holes, insert only the screws – do not use the plugs again. Read the instructions on the
Fischer label carefully and make sure that you clean the holes thoroughly after drilling.

Mounting on wood:

Drill small holes of approximately 4 mm diameter in the wood and screw the
wiretap firmly into the wood and then mount the SmartCase as instructed above. We recommend
drilling the upper holes at a height of between 1.5 and 1.6 m from the ground.

Operation

SC1230 (unlocked): To close the cabinet, close the door and turn the knob left (90 degrees). To open
the door turn the knob in the opposite direction (90 degrees right turn) and gently pull.
SC1240 (code lock): Enter the programmed code (default code = 333) by turning the number wheels
and turn the lock to the right. In case the code is lost, you can use the key to find the code: see
section changing code. After you have retrieved the code, you can open the lock.

Important:

It is mandatory to always have the code and key available in case of an emergency
(applies to SC1240). Due to an unexpected defect or wrongly programmed code, it may happen
that the lock doesn't open when using the code. In this case it is necessary to have an alternative
available (key). Furthermore, it is important to rehearse the above mentioned procedures before
