Cleaning the jug blender

Clean the appliance before it is used for the fi rst time,
and also immediately after each cycle of use.
WARNING
Risk of injury and damage to the
appliance.
– Never immerse the motor unit in
water.
WARNING
Health risks due to unsuitable cleaning
agents.
– Only food-grade cleaning agents
should be used for cleaning the
individual components.
CAUTION
Do not use abrasives, harsh cleaning
solutions or tools that night cause
scratches to the surfaces. The individual
components of the blender are not
dishwasher-safe.
1. Remove the plug from the wall socket.
2. Unlock the blender jug and detach it from the motor
unit.
3. Clean the motor unit with a damp cloth.
WARNING
Risk of injury due to sharp blades.
– Always hold the blade unit from
below by its base. Do not touch the
blades.
4. Turn the blade unit clockwise to remove it from the
blender jug.
5. Clean the blade unit under running water.
6. The jug can also be cleaned under running water,
using a commercially available detergent.
7. The lid can be cleaned under running water, using a
commercially available detergent.
8. Clean the measuring cup under running water,
using a commercially available detergent.
